About Me

Hi! My name is Madison Cunningham, and I am “The Classroom Edit.” I have been teaching for 3 years, and am passionate about finding and creating great resources for myself and other teachers. I have taught 3rd and 4th grades, and have endorsements in STEM and ESL. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas in 2016 with my BSE in childhood education with a minor in art history. I graduated again in 2017 with my MAT. I am a camp counselor through and through, and incorporate many “campy” things in my classroom, from management to instruction. I worked at a summer camp for 6 years– 2 years as a counselor, and 4 years on leadership, in charge of human relations for counselors, their creative arts programs, and administrative tasks, as well as middle-school girls’ discipline. Yep, MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS DISCIPLINE. What a time! I have MANY stories about that. My favorite part of the job was getting to build relationships with kids and other counselors. I am excited to start getting to know other teachers, and connect on this online platform!
